Vendor Opportunities

The Peachtree Health and Fitness Expo on July 2 and July 3 serves as the kickoff to the AJC Peachtree Road Race on the Fourth of July. The Expo features vendors from the health and fitness industry including running apparel and gear, nutritional products and injury prevention. Over 30,000 runners and walkers attend the Peachtree Health and Fitness Expo which features number pick-up for the AJC Peachtree Road Race.

The Expo will take place on Wednesday July 2 and Thursday, July 3 in Hall A2 of the Georgia World Congress Center. Expo hours will be 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2 and 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 3.

IMPORTANT

ALL activity must take place INSIDE your designated booth space. ALL items whether on display or in storage must fit inside the booth at all times. (For additional storage options, see below).  All business must be conducted within your booth. Addressing attendees, carrying/posting signs, handing out flyers, etc. outside your booth is not permitted, including standing in the aisle just in front of your booth. PLEASE PLAN YOUR SPACE NEEDS/LIMITS IN ADVANCE-this will be enforced. 

Be sure you have done the following: 

 

 

  • Requested your total number of needed credentials (email to expo@atlantatrackclub.org)
  • Returned your COI made out to Atlanta Track Club, Inc, 3097 E. Shadowlawn Ave NE, Atlanta GA 30305
  • Ordered any needed utilities from the venue-electricity, water service, data
  • Ordered any needed goods/services from Shepard Expo Services-drayage, carpet, etc. 
  • Returned your sampling form to Levy Restaurants if you are sampling food products

Things to Remember: 

Show Hours

Show hours are 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. Wednesday July 2 and 10 a.m.-7 p.m. on Thursday July 2 (no soft open); please staff accordingly.

 

Setup is Tuesday, July 1 from 1 - 8 p.m. Setting up on Wednesday July 2 is permitted between 8-10 a.m for exhibitors with a single 10x10 space. You must complete setup by 10 a.m. so that security checks may be completed at that time. before You are responsible for providing dollies, carts, etc. No one under the age of 18 is permitted on the show floor or loading dock during setup or teardown.

 Credentials

Please take note: policies have changed and will be enforced:

Credentials will be available on setup day, Wednesday July 1 from 1-8 p.m. Credentials will also be available on show days from 8 a.m. until show opening adjacent to the volunteer check-in table at the top of the escalators leading to the main entrance.

 

All exhibitors will be required to provide in advance the number of people (not names) who will be working in the booth over the course of the show.  Exhibitors will be issued credentials in an assigned number range; they may not be exchanged or given to other exhibitors.

 

Each exhibitor will need to designate someone responsible for picking up the credentials for everyone in their booth for the entire show. When that person picks up credentials, he/she will need to provide the name of their company exactly as it appears on our list and will receive a packet containing credentials for the number of staff members previously indicated.  The designated rep will need to sign for the credentials and assign a staff name for each credential number. All credentials must be picked up by show opening time; we will not be distributing credentials after opening.

 

As access to the show floor requires a credential, the person in charge of credentials will need to distribute them in advance of the show or meet staff members at the door as they arrive. Staff members who arrive after the show has opened without credentials must be met or they will need to to wait in line and go through the security check at the entrance before going to their booth to pick up their credentials and begin work.

 

Parking

Discounted parking is available in the GWCC Red Deck for $6/day (regularly $10/day) with a pre-printed pass.  If your vehicle won't fit, Area #4 of the GWCC Marshaling Yard at 362 Ivan Allen Jr. Blvd. is available on a daily rate basis starting at $20/day.  The parking pass is in the manual, page 4.

 

Booth Spaces

All booth spaces are equipped with the following: one six (6)-foot table per 10x10 space, two chairs, trash can, ID sign. You may provide additional tables or order them from Shepard--there is a fee for additional tables.

All questions regarding drayage/shipping should be directed to Shepard Exposition Services at 404-720-8600 or atlanta@shepardes.com.

 

Electrical/Phone/Data

Please submit order forms for electrical/phone/data service if using to the GWCC ASAP; Atlanta Track Club does not arrange for these services. Forms are in the manual; page 40-47.

 

Sales Tax

The Georgia State sales tax form can be found here.

 

Tents/Canopies

Pop-up tents/canopies must adhere to all policies outlined in the exhibitor manual and have a fire extinguisher visibly displayed at all times. The Fire Marshal DOES inspect and will dismantle displays not adhering to these policies.

 

Storage

UNSECURED storage will be available in a curtained-off area adjacent to the show floor; the cost is $50 per 10x10 space. Contact me at mbourg@atlantatrackclub.org by Monday June 23 to reserve your desired space(s); you can pay by cash or check July 1. Atlanta Track Club, Shepard Exposition Services, and the Georgia World Congress Center assume no liability for loss or damage to unattended goods while in accessible storage.  Storage charges are for the use of the space and are not a form of insurance or a guarantee of security.

 

Sampling

If you will be sampling food items, be sure to complete the sampling form and return it to Levy Restaurants by Monday, June 23. The sampling form is in the manual, page 67.

 

Exhibitors sampling open food items must contract for Shepard for porter service to ensure that trash is picked up and correctly disposed of in a timely manner. Contact Shepard Exposition Services at 404-720-8600 or atlanta@shepardes.com.

 

Miscellaneous 

Merchandise/promotional items MAY NOT use the AJC Peachtree Road race logo or the words "Peachtree Road Race" or "AJC Peachtree Road Race"

As per GWCC policy, helium balloons are not permitted.

Carpeting your booth is recommended for comfort; you may bring your own or order from Shepard.

Chick-fil-A concessions will be available for purchase on the show floor and Starbucks is on the GWCC concourse.  The CNN Center food court is directly across the street. Please note: outside food/beverage is not permitted on the show floor.
