Thank you for your interest in covering the 2012 AJC Peachtree Road Race on Wednesday, July 4.  If you are interested in securing media credentials for the 2012 event you are required to fill out the Media Credential Request Form. Please contact media@atlantatrackclub.org with any questions about credentials for the 2012 AJC Peachtree Road Race.

All media credential requests must be submitted to the Atlanta Track Club by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 29, 2012. 

Media credentials for the 2012 AJC Peachtree Road Race may be picked up at the AJC Peachtree Road Race press conference at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 2 at Magnolia Hall in Piedmont Park or on Tuesday, July 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Atlanta Track Club office (3097 E. Shadowlawn Ave., Atlanta, Ga. 30305). Media credentials will not be distributed on the morning of the event.

Available Media Credentials

Below are the types of media credentials that are available for the 2012 AJC Peachtree Road Race.  Please note that limited quantities of each type of credential are available, and the Atlanta Track Club reserves the right to deny any credential request.

Start / Course Media Credential - The Start / Course Media Credential allows access to the start area and the course.  The Start / Course Media Credential does not allow access to the athlete warm-up area, press truck, medical areas, media area behind the finish line, finish line media platform, finish line interview area, athlete / awards stage area, T-shirt distribution area.

Press Truck / Finish Line Media Credential* - The Press Truck / Finish Line Media Credential allows access to the start area, press truck, media area behind the finish line and finish line media platform, finish line interview area. The Press Truck / Finish Line Media Credential does not allow access to the athlete / award stage area, T-shirt distribution area or the medical areas.

Finish Line Media - The Finish Line Media Credential allows access to the media area behind the finish line, finish line media platform and finish line interview area. The Finish Line Media Credential does not allow access to the athlete / award stage area, T-shirt distribution area or the medical areas.

*New for 2012, the women's professional field will start at 7:17 a.m. followed by the men's professional field at 7:30 a.m.  There will be a separate press truck for the women's and men's fields.
